Mario Salvadori was a beloved teacher.  He successfully took his Columbia University Engineering Structures class into New York City public schools.  The kids build models, pour concrete, and learn about tension and compression.  In 2001,  The Salvadori Center celebrated 25 years of teaching engineering, math, science to kids in grades K-12.
