This is one of our first video productions. \u00a0 From 1982. \u00a0 It was shot on 1″ type C, with an RCA TK76, and edited on 3\/4″.\u00a0\u00a0 At that time, there was a great leap forward in video production, known as the Video Cassette.\u00a0 No more threading up reel-to-reel machines.
\nWe had met the Head Coach for the Cornell Crew, Finn Meislahn, while creating another show on the history of Cornell Athletics, called “Here we are Again”.\u00a0\u00a0 We unearthed a wealth of images for that show, including the Cornell crews at the Poughkeepsie Regatta, and at Henley in 1957.\u00a0 Finn then hired us to make this recruiting video for his crews.\u00a0 The students got permission from Steve Winwood to use the song, “Night Train”, and our good friend Karl Schaffner provided music as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
